2003
· Official launch of Social Service Training Institute

2004
· Launch of Bachelor of Social Work with Monash University

2005
· School of Non-Profits was established
· Launch of the Online Board Assessment Survey (Board Governance Consultancy Service)
· Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nanyang Polytechnic to collaborate on the development of manpower in the counselling sector

2006
· Obtained accreditation as an approved training organisation under the Workforce Skills Qualification Framework developed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA)
· Awarded the Approved Training Centre (ATC) status by the Institute of Technical Education to conduct the NITEC in Social Services course
· First intake of the Bachelor of Social Work Honours programme with Monash University
· First intake of the Specialist Diploma in Counselling, in partnership with Nanyang Polytechnic
· Launch of Bachelor of Education (Special Education) with Flinders University
· Organised the National Symposium for School Social Work and Counselling

2007
· Started Mandarin Board Governance Programmes
· Organised Conference on the Rehabilitation of Youth Offenders together with Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports & Singapore Association of Social Workers
· Achieved dual Accreditation of the Bachelor of Social Work programme, by both Australian Association of Social Workers and the Singapore Association of Social Workers

2008
· Launch of Diploma in Social Service
· Signed MOU with NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy to develop Executive Leadership Development programmes under the Professional and Leadership Development Scheme
· Signed MOU with Dr Robert CK Loh to build capability for eldercare sector
· Organised AIESEC NTU – SSTI International Online Essay Writing Competition 2008

2009
· Launch of E-Learning Board Governance Programmes
· Launch of Senior Management Programme for Non-Profits (Core & Advanced)
· Organised the inaugural Dr Robert C K Loh - SSTI Eldercare Seminar
