Target Participants/ Admission Requirements
Diploma in Social Service
(Intake 4)
- Minimum of three GCE 'O' Level credits including English Language
- At least two years of related working experience
Candidates need to be proficient in written and oral English. Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements are required to go through an interview and written test, and will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.
Grassroots leaders who have previously attended NACLI’s Social Assistance Basic and NACLI-SSTI’S Social Assistance Proficiency modules will be exempted from DSS101: Overview of Social Services and Human Services Organisations in Singapore.
Higher Diploma in Social Service
(Intake 2)
- SSTI Diploma in Social Service, SSTI Diploma in Disability Studies, Specialist Diploma in Human Services or equivalent, two GCE 'A' and two 'AO' Levels or polytechnic diploma
- At least two years of related working experience
Candidates who do not meet the minimum qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Assessment:
Students will be assessed through a range of individual assignments, group projects, tests and examinations in the various modules.
